Spoon with thermal conductivity
It is not an easy task to try to scoop out the rock hard frozen ice cream straight out of the freezer. The spoon they give you at the store seems too fragile and the regular spoon may hurt your hand. You may experience a psychic spoon bending! But you can’t wait till your ice cream becomes softer. The ice cream spoon from the 15.0% solves your frustration.
Designed by architect Naoki Terada, only the Japanese love of food and their forte for design could have come up with this one. The 15.0% Ice Cream Spoon conducts the heat from your hand via aluminum, meaning stubbornly frozen blocks of delicious ice cream will melt faster – and therefore can be enjoyed quicker! The name derives from the Japanese food regulation stating that ice cream must be 15.0% fat and Terada’s genius is based on creating a spoon with thermal conductivity of 237 W/mK.
Freezers tend to, well, freeze ice cream – and this is bad news for those with a sweet tooth who want their delights ASAP. Fear not, reach for this spoon and you’ll be munching down the sorbet in next to no time! This set contains all three kinds: Vanilla, with its egg-shaped tip; chocolate, with the angular top; and strawberry, with an attractive fork tip ideal for digging in quick!
