Dutch beer manufacturer Heineken revealed its pop-up nightclub concept.
The space was created by a team of 19 international student designers who won a competition to develop and realize the concept over the past year. The result combines a futuristic club scene with virtual games and aspects to encourage social engagement. An interactive bar surface indicates to bartenders who’s next in line to be served, while a video mapping star-shaped screen above the DJ booth lends to interaction between the music, people and space.
‘Clubs are really interesting spaces for us to explore new design ideas, as they’re social, extrovert and progressive places where design really sets the scene for the nightlife experience,’ says Mark van Iterson, head of global design at Heineken.Pin It
