ABSOLUT artwork about purity

Much of Absolut‘s fame is due to its long-running advertising campaign. Over the years Absolut has commissioned not only over 300 painters, but leading artists in all fields, including sculptors, glass designers, musicians and fashion designers. This year, Absolut commissioned German artist Simon Schubert to create an artwork about purity. His solution was letting only light and shadow create the picture, using a special folding technique. The piece is currently on exhibit and heavily guarded, as a bus shelter in Paris!

Since December 14th Absolut Vodka has taken over one of Avenue de l’Opéra’s bus shelters in Paris. The unique poster portrays the limited edition multi-sided bottle released at the end of the year. Watch the making of it on the video.
