Photographer provokes with Green Pink Caviar
I stumbled upon this interesting artist Marilyn Mintzer, whose some of her previous works had been in the center of controversy, especially with feminist groups. This extraordinary photographer mixes the elegance of art with photography and a sense of sexual decadence evoked as the models’ tongue trails across the plates, mixing saliva and sugar, pushing colors around to simulate the process of painting. What is really interesting about her photos in her “Green Pink Caviar serie” is that many of them are only images and close-ups. She adds an provocative twist with texture, paint, caviar and gold.
I think these would make great conversational pieces of art in a chic restaurant or lobby!
