Ayako is half artist and half designer, producing amazing catering concepts for ceremonies, receptions and high profile events
The level of catering always changes based on clients requirements. Thus there is not just one . One is to focus on conceptual foods. She will often add a theatrical touch directing casts, doing make-ups and preparing costumes, to make the experience interactive and like a realshow.
Ayako also produces new food products in collaboration with brand-name manufacturers to approach a new value toward foods. She has held her own exhibition and performance at a museum in Tokyo most recently.
Serving up sensuality with food combinations, evoking and indulging in the most pleasurable tastes but above all-her experimental mixtures are true visual delights.
Ayako Suwa introduces the idea of food as an ultimate material to “deliver the concept to a stomach” and stimulate not only the taste but also the five senses, and to provoke an appetite.
Ayako shares the same passion as us when it comes to innovation and we have built a close relationship with the artist who tends to travel extensively.
