Unique Artisanal Chocolates

It does not get much better than this! Handmade, artisanal chocolates by the Mast brothers, but it is beyond that. They receive deliveries of cocoa beans from all over the world, roast them themselves, grind the beans with home made grinders from the neighbor who is an aerospace specialist, and proceed with the rest of the chocolate making process. These bars of metaphorical gold are wrapped in some gold foil paper and then, in some gorgeous Italian wrapping paper. It feels like a crime to even open the packaging.
When one understands fully the process it took to get this chocolate made, it makes the process of enjoying it all the more pleasurable. Mast Brothers rustic approach to chocolate is truly unique.Choices are often based on which was prettiest, but it turns out they are all equally delicious. My personal favorite is the sliced almonds and sea salt in a bed of dark chocolate. As the chocolate melts in your mouth you start to get the taste of the little salt crystals.
